Presently, Astha Children Care Home is providing food, accommodation, security, and friendly environment to the children to develop their childhood better. It is imparting quality education to the children in the private schools so as to foster their credibility and enhance their capacity. The children are provided with counseling services and moral education.

Food and Accommodation Services

The organization has arranged a residential house for the children where healthy, nutritious and hygienic food and lodging service is provided in family environment. The security system is in place so as to safeguard the children. The minimum facilities for the accommodation are in place.

Regular Health Check ups and Care

In order to keep healthy children, a staff nurse is recruited. She regularly takes care of the health of the children. A doctor checks up the children every week. The children are referred to the hospital for medical treatment, if needed.

Schooling to the children

Presently, the organization does not own the school. However, about 65 children are being sent to a reputed private school in Kathmandu nearby the centre. They have been given all the materials needed for the school. Apart from that, about 185 children of daily wages workers, low income and backward communities in Morang District are provided with school dress, stationary and books, school fees and daily snacks by the Astha Children Care Home. The organization carefully oversees to ensure similar behavior of our children with rest of the children in the school.

Sports, Dance and Recreation

The Astha Children Care Home always looks forward to work for the overall development of the children. An instructor is recruited so as to coach children different sports like Judo/Karate, Martial Art etc. It has also been providing training for promoting cultural song and dance. A dance trainer from the National Theater visits and trains the children once every week. The children play in the park, ride bicycle in the playground and play basketball and football in nearby school’s space. ASTHA organizes picnic, field trip and other programs occassionaly so as to recreate them.
